It's our 1st anniversary in a couple of weeks and being a bloke I am pretty clueless as to what sort of present should be bought, shocking yes I know, but true.
Flowers is always a winner but what else do you think? A bottle of bubbly is out as my wife is 7months pregnant and not drinking.
Thanks,
Pete.

Hi and thanks for the ideas.
I bought her a necklace as a wedding present and have already booked a restaurant (as I always cook in our house anyway  ).
So flowers and meal booked anything else?I'll get me coat!0 -
Hiya
The traditional first anniversary present is paper... so...
a copy of the newspaper from the day you married?
a letter telling her how much you love her?
a book she loves?
a framed photo of you? Either her favourite picture or of a special time (when you proposed?)
Congrats on your baby

lol, I didn't want to say

You could get a pampering day for her before she has the baby, too, as being pregnant is hard work. You just need to make sure that the person who is working is completely qualified (it would surprise or scare you the amount of people out there calling themselves therapists when they obviously aren't!). You can have most of the treatments when pregnant, although the massage just needs to be a bit lighter.
It may be a nice way for her to relax, depending on whether or not she likes other people working with her.
