Normally take cash in local currency when travel overseas but thinking we might be better off with a prepaid travel card instead. Can't decide between Revolut or Currensea and looking to see if one is better than the other.

Why not just get a current account and/or credit card that offers fee free foreign spending and withdrawals?

I do not want a credit card or to have to open another current account as will return to using cash when retailers etc. are comfortable accepting cash again0

Take both, don't rely on only one.Evolution, not revolution0

Even if you don't plan on using a credit card taking one can be useful for an emergency backup as well as to use for using for holding deposits.0
