Thank you both. I'm going to leave it for a little while as I'm not sure if some restrictions might be reintroduced here in Scotland. There are certainly some warning signs. I would certainly try to get a first appointment. My neighbour has offered to colour my hair for me if need be. We could do that outside but it's the cut that's the problem. I suppose if all else fails my neighbour could colour it and I could find a way of tying it up. It's certainly long enough to do that now. I'm sure we'll find a solution.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.3

That's certainly another solution. I think one of my other neighbours might know someone who might do that. ThanksHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7

NSD No 1 (Hurrah)
Was so wet today we didn't get for a walk but I've been up and down these stairs at least a dozen times cleaning and moving things.
Confession. I had ice cream and strawberries for pudding last night. I don't have pudding very often. Still I've been avoiding snacking on sweet things.
Few things out of the freezer today including something which looked utterly indescribable that Himself had for lunch, It was the leftovers of some sort of rice/chicken dish. He said it was very tasty but it didn't look very appetising. Never mind. He ate it. Baked potatoes in the oven for dinner. Sneaked some broken things into a bin bag for disposing of when he's not looking. Why do people keep things that don't work and will never be used?
Hope the weather is better tomorrow so I can get out for a walk.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -

Strawberries are a sodium-free, fat-free, cholesterol-free, low-calorie food. So there! And ice cream, erm, well, less so, but it cools you down .. maybe... and is yummy.I have ordered a big purchase on the cc. and so today is still NSD 3 and I am going to do everything possible to claw back at least half the money before the cc bill comes in. So made £5 on p/a today, and scraped another £25 together from tidying up accounts. So nearly 10% found already.Gratitudes: managed to drag myself out for a run, and was home before 9am. Been good with the diet and am just waiting for results. Went into a shop, walked around, bought nothing, left. The washing dried on the line, and a stain came out of a beautiful long piece of wedding sari material which is all the colours of the sunset, that I thought was ruined forever. I may have trashed one of dh's t-shirts and a pillowcase though- it is heavily beaded so wrapped it in the pillowcase, forgot it was in there, and washed it with a full load of laundry - luckily we wear a lot of black in our house. Hence only 2 possible fatalities, and a slightly Titian sock.

Today I am grateful for a gf cafe living up to its reputation, for finding a rock and fossil shop, for texts with my cousin, for finishing another 1000 piece jigsaw, for good weather.
