Yes Calor do seem to have a stranglehold on customers, We had the same problem as Tweetinat in terms of cost and it turned out that the boiler was kicking out CO gas rather than heat. If you do nothing else Tweetinat GET YOUR BOILER CHECKED. This is the one time that a draughty energy inefficent house was a life saver, we both had symptoms of mild CO poisoning. Good luck with it, we switched to oil.0
