Lebara: Abroad with no voicemail PIN

I recently moved to Lebara and I never did bother to set up the voicemail PIN so I could access it from other phone numbers. Now I'm abroad and I'm not going to be back in the UK for quite a while and:

- "121", as expected, doesn't work

- There is a special number to call from abroad, but it's equivalent to calling from a different number so you need the voicemail PIN. If you have not set it up it suggests you to set it up by calling 121... which you can not.

I have been talking via webchat with Lebara. First they told me that they could just reset my PIN, sent me a SMS with the new one and problem solved. Since I never got that SMS I use the webchat again and this time they have told me that they basically can not do anything: no reset PIN, no disable the voicemail so I don't get more messages I can't hear (and will be automatically deleted before I go back to the UK), no nothing.

I can't see any option to control anything about the voicemail in "My Account" in the Lebara website either, even if Google shows stuff like https://www.askmefast.com/How_to_deactiate_voice_mail_in_lebarauk-qna968153.html#q5179087 (for www.lebara.ch).

Has anybody been in such a situation before? Did you manage to get access to the voicemail?

You could try 0000 or the last 4 digits of your phone number if you haven't previously set up your own pin.

Enter *#002# and press call - this will switch off your voicemail diverts.
