Why do I need to be more specific?

The people who know what I'm on about will answer accordingly, as they have done. 

Maybe think on this : if I was more specific, that probably would not help in paye in answering my  question.

You are only entitled to defer your payment on account if you would have difficulty paying it due to coronavirus.

"You have the option to defer your second payment on account if you’re:

• registered in the UK for Self Assessment and
• finding it difficult to make your second payment on account by 31 July 2020 due to the impact of coronavirus

You can still make the payment by 31 July 2020 as normal if you’re able to do so."

Except, the tax statement is issued just saying it is due by end January.

That's because you are not required to make a claim to defer. It doesn't affect the requirement as set out in my previous post.

Some people on PAYE will also have July and January tax payments to make.  Shareholding directors for example.

I've paid mine.   Interest rates are too low to benefit by keeping it in savings. Nothing to gain by not paying for me.
