Yes - it's a single pole device. I suspect that although it was showing off it actually wasn't.
Why switch off everything anyway for a few days - what about the fridge, heating (even if gas) ???????????

Both are after the meter....as long as the isolator is working properly turning off the consumer unit instead would Make no difference?0
