I guess you'll get what you get when it arrives.
well, I don't think it affects this post as I am still listening to people's constructive views.
I have also searched DFS/Sofology, guess what some people gave very positive reviews but some gave very negative. Unless spent huge on sofa, we probably couldn't avoid it. But more feedbacks the better.
I don't think just because it was made in China, the quality becomes a concern. It would happen else where. The post is mainly for people who got experience with Denelli and willing to share their experience.
That's great, and other people may benefit from this thread, but how is any feedback going to be of any help to you now?  What will you do if half a dozen people pop up today with terrible reviews?

I can fully understand your view. I like this thread to help more people as well. I feel the conversation has directed to why i bought the sofa before listening to more reviews.........I would appreciated people to focus on the original purpose, thanks.
BTW, i can always refund within 14 days, however, again, this is not the intention of this thread.

But it almost certainly won't help other people.
They'll do exactly the same as you did and buy before reading reviews.
On the Air Travel board of Tripadvisor there are hundreds - if not thousands - of threads warning people not to use various 3rd party ticket sellers e.g. eDreams, Kiwi etc.

Do people read them and listen?
    No they don't.
They see what they think is a good deal and only when it all goes pear-shaped do they try to warn other people not to use company A or B. Even though they ignored all warnings not to do so, they still think people will listen to them. They won't.
And so the next person is caught out because they didn't do their research.
So they warn against using company A or B.
    And on and on.

I appreciated what you said but I do feel you saying it for no reason.....you are off the topic now... you might say it's still related but really? If you do not have any experience of using that sofa company, perhaps you can wait to see if other people give their views? Your view is indeed helpful and i would suggest you to create a new post to warn them. This post is only related to the specific sofa company.

Why would I want to start a thread to warn people about a company that I've never bought from and hadn't even heard of until I read your thread?
    What an odd suggestion.

Maybe an odd suggestion due to an odd reply?

Are you sure?  I take it you bought in store rather than online?  Is their policy that you can cancel your order in the next 14 days without penalty?

this is very helpful advice, yes, you are right that i bought it in store. Does it mean i can not cancel it without penalty? The shop guy told me differently though.

Their website terms say they have a 14 day cooling off period. But they dont refund delivery and you have to return at your own expense. Those terms also explicitly exclude any items bought in store

I am another though who can’t understand why you didn’t wait for some reviews after asking.

You don't have automatic consumer rights to change your mind for an in-store purchase, no.  That's why I asked what their policy is. What does your paperwork say about it?
