Excuse my ignorance but we have been with Sky for about 30 plus years and about to leave them on 10th August.
I now thar any thing recorded will disappear and thats fine but will the box just resort to being a free sat receiver....
Obviously no recording, etc

Browntoa said:Am I right in thinking it needs a Freesat from sky card from them ?No.When your subscription lapses your card automatically becomes Freesat from Sky. You don't need anything else, it'll just "work".Note that recordings do not disappear when your subscription lapses, you just won't be able to play them.0
