Carpet installation agreement prior to Covid

Hello,
We had signed an agreement for carpet installation at our property with SCS. However, it got put on hold because of the pandemic. After being initially enticed by the 0% interest payments, I have had second thoughts due to poor reviews read here and there making me wonder if I should have done more homework. I have following dilemmas and would appreciate your thoughts on them.

1) I had specifically told the manager that my house has furniture and the carpet installation company would need to move stuff around and I will help. The manager said I will put a personal word and it should be no problem and can be done for both floors (4 rooms) and landing in the standard £495. I have a funny feeling as that will be between myself and the carpet fitting company, will I be caught out if the team on the day tells me its a bigger job or we are not going to move stuff etc? How can I ensure to avoid it?

2) Based on second thoughts I wonder if I can get out of the credit agreement and cancel the order? SCS has sent me an email that my carpet is in their warehouse and the work would be scheduled at the right time. Having said that none is cut to size etc. So, do I still have a chance and do I speak to them or to the credit company?

As above, it comes down to the contract you have whether you can cancel or not, and if you do, if any costs are owed.

I'd be calling SCS to remind them of the verbal assurance on furniture moving and to ask them to confirm the fitting team will honour that.
