Re-booked flights not showing on schedule

Options
Vueing allowed us to re-book (in mid June) cancelled April flights (AlicanteCardiff) to Sept dates (weds to Weds) with flight credit + flight difference fee £58. Since then these days haven't showed on V's booking  schedule at all, showing only Monday and Thursday flights. I have called CS and they say flights still on schedule. However they do not show on the public schedule. As it is a family wedding we can't risk a no flight situation. Should we change our flight dates to the Thursdays and write off the extra we paid as Vs t&c say they won't refund any credit difference!! Feel we've been conned as these may be phantom flight dates that we were charged more for! Any advice? Are our dates likely to appear later? Alt. is it more likely we will we be informed about a schedule change due to CV19 late in Aug/early Sept. with usual option of change flight and also pay (even more) difference??

When a flight is cancelled you are entitled to a refund, so you could have requested a refund back in April rather than rebook.

I would suggest that you're right and your Wednesday flights won't operate and at some point Vueling will tell you they are cancelled.  Unfortunately Vueling are not the easiest airline to deal with and their customer services leave something to be desired.  Personally I would begrudge moving the flights to Thursday now at your own cost, or losing any money.

If (when?) they tell you your Wednesday flights are cancelled, then you would again be entitled to replacement flights or a refund. Vueling will again try and push you into a voucher.  You could apply pressure for a cash refund, although given you booked part voucher and part cash I am assuming that's how they would refund you.  So depending on the prices of the flights at the time you could either accept a rebooking onto Thursday flights, or maybe take a voucher, or a voucher/cash refund and re-book them yourselves.
