@face-t can you provide more feedback please on whether this was PCN was cancelled by the private parking company or if it went to POPLA for appeal?

If you could please provide the wording in the cancellation (letter?) would help others.. removing the private info of course, as you did in your original post above..

Don't hold your breath the OP hasn't been on here for 8 months and hasn't even been back to this thread to update for over a year.

Hello, can anyone help me! I parked in the same carpark in my other half van to pick him up after a night out. Due to his intoxicated state i had to go and find him meaning the van was left for over an hour as i searched for him 🙈They have now sent the fine through in his name. The incident happened on the 25th September, as similar to the original post i thought it was free as it used to be in the evening but checked the machines and it gave no option to pay after hours so i left. 

The fine has arrived today and was issued on the 3rd October so already a week into the reduced payment rate, i don't dare tell the oh lol I need to admit to being the driver or would I be able to appeal this as it dark the carpark isn't light up like a Christmas tree and I didn't even notice these tiny signs up the poles!

I'm not sure it it's already been mentioned- but there is at least one other post from this year regarding this site. My main advice was to get hold of someone senior at Iceland and their social media platforms. If you use thr search facility there is more information that might help you.
