BT mobile and broadband

We have a landline with BT also we have a sim only contract with BT for £5 per month for our mobiles which we never go over our allowance.
This is my question. If we left BT broadband and landline for a better deal would we automatically have to lose our mobile BT contract with them to?

AFAIK, you get a discount on your mobile for being a BB customer, move to someone else, you don’t lose your mobile but you do forfeit the discount.
If your price is about to increase , possibly because you are at the end of a minimum term , probably worth asking the retentions team what can be done on price unless there is more than just an issue with price....TBH, if you use the email address with your broadband that would be more hassle , and worth taking into account when looking at alternatives, obviously for some it won’t be an issue.1
