I know it's not the point of your thread but given that you might be looking to lose a lot of money, do reconsider the travel

My sister has just come back from a long weekend in Italy, and she felt completely safe and had a fantastic time.  The airport and flight were well-organised on both ends and the systems in place for physical distancing were very respected and easy to follow in Italy. She was quite unsure before travelling, but felt she had a really good trip and quickly forgot she'd been stressing about it beforehand.

  • That is brilliant news Soot2006.   I have been eagerly awaiting feedback from people who are choosing to go ahead.   I would choose to go also if I had booked a holiday abroad.  Mine is next month in UK and am going on that.   I just feel that even with restrictions people can make a good time out of it, if they try.
  • I booked a holiday to Cyprus with love holidays, the flights were with Ryanair, I paid love holidays for whole package, they cancelled holiday and said I needed to contact Ryanair for flight refund, took ages to get through and they said I was not entitled to a refund as the flight was going ahead, obviously I couldn't travel as Cyprus was not accepting visitors from the UK. Ryanair representative told me it wasn't their problem, surely they should give refunds for flights if you are barred from entering a country.

You need to deal with LoveHolidays. They are who you payed, and they have cancelled your holiday, so it is them that owe you a refund.
