Just a quick message to update:
Northway Financial have offered £2790 which I have accepted.
Lending Stream said 2 out of the 3 loans were affordable and have offered £134.40 as that's what I paid on the 3rd loan. I have accepted.
Quickquid basically told me my loans were all too old even though I was still paying them in 2015. Its been referred to FOS.
Wagedayadvance are still working on it...the 8 week period ends on 16th April.
Wonga's 8 weeks are up on 17th April.
MrLender's 8 weeks are up on 17th April.
Uncle Buck's 8 weeks are up on 17th April.
Payday UK haven't come back to me since initial contact. Their time is up on 17th April.
Payday Express said the loans were affordable so I have sent it onto the FOS.

Looks promising for the most part!

From my experience, Wonga will run right up to the wire with their offer (assuming they make one) and once accepted they then take a week to confirm they have received your acceptance and that the payment can take up to 14 days. A little frustrating - you would think they would just want to get it closed as quickly as possible.

PDUK were surprisingly quick with mine though I received no contact between them accepting my complaint and then them sending an offer. Even after I accepted their offer I received no confirmation from them, literally just found the money in the bank a few days later. Not that I will complain about that, but it is normal behavior from them - I will give them credit for being the best ones I dealt with timewise.

The rest I have no dealings with Im afraid.

    Hi,

How long did it take for your payday loan with payday Uk to be resolved. I currently have one with the FOS for loans with PDUK dating back to 2009 and had been with them since May last year. Was just wondering how long yours took

Thank you all for your advice. In about three to four months I hope to have been able to pay off all my loans so will look to then start to seek action against each of them. Anything is better than nothing.

    Hey Superhoop91,

You don!!!8217;t need to wait before they are paid off to start claiming - in fact, putting in a claim beforehand is advisable. Check out Debt Camel!!!8217;s website for all the info you need on this - Sara has set up an amazing website and is constantly giving advice. I really recommend looking at it.

I kept a spreadsheet so I had a timeline. I cant imagine yours will be exactly the same but I would guess at similar timeframes unless they are getting very busy. Here are my QQ and Wonga ones:

    QQ

24/01 - Request SOA - to be sent within 72 hours
    30/01 - Escalated SOA
    31/01 - SOA received
    01/02 - Complaint sent
02/02 - Complaint acknowledged - asked for bank statements. I refused.
01/03 - Standard update - complaint being looked into, will rpely within the 8 weeks.
15/03 - QQ sent offer. Accepted.
20/3 - Confirm receiving acceptance of offer. Told payment will be up to 2 days. Paid same day. Case closed.

    Wonga

    24/01 - Request SOA
29/01 - SOA received. Complaint sent.
    02/02 - Complaint acknowledged.
26/02 - Standard - your complaint is still being looked at email.
26/03 - Standard - your complaint is still being looked at email. Received offer. Accepted.
04/04 - Confirm receiving acceptance of offer (this took a while but it was Easter bank holiday so benefit of the doubt I think with that one).
    09/04 - Paid. Case closed.

So as you can see, QQ just under 2 months to be sorted and Wonga a little over.I accepted both offers first time as they were within the range I expected to get back (or literally a few pounds short and I wasnt going to go back and forth over it or wait several months for FOS for the little difference there was). Of course you may not get a good enough offer so could take longer but hope that gives at least a basic overview of the process.

Hi since 2015 I have used payday loan companies to live from month to month I have fallen into a trap and am only just able to get myself out of it - 4 defaults later and a mound of debt :( I had a guarnator loan that was over 79% interest and I have just tallied up via my noddle report 35 pay day loans in the space of 3 years. I never knew my problem was so bad until I decided to do my own table in excel showing the dates and amounts that ive paid and borrowed and defaulted but now its there in black and white i feel like a total and utter idiot. I have looked online via Redbridge about reclaiming money and I did use the Resolver function to start claims against Wonga but they just knocked me back. I've been rubbish in terms of keeping records and I changed bank accounts a couple of times oveer the years. Do I stand any chance of reclaiming any of the ridiculous amounts of defualts and interest payments that I have made the last few years? Is it worth using a claims company to deal with it given the amount of loans tha tI hav ehad?

Quick quid have got back to my husband and said ‘complaint upheld’ but they don’t think they have done anything wrong, he has paid over £1500 in interest of increasing loans approx 30 I think over 5 years and offered him £17.49!! I am quite insulted haha so will reply to tell them that we are off to the FOS :)

We also have a current debt with them at the collectors so they proposed to take £17.49 off the current debt outstanding
