Has anyone had any recent experience with 247 Moneybox?
They were the only one who dragged their heels with me over what I had borrowed and now, my adjudicator upheld my complaint on 35 of 40 loans, but I have a feeling they will ignore this and it will have to be place in the ombudsman line. How long is the wait for the ombudsman decision?

    Afternoon everyone.

So I'm assuming people have had a lot of success... I'm currently not having any. I've made my claims threw resolver. Great tool however everyone has been rejected.. My jar sunny and wonga.

Now I'm waiting for the financial Ombudsman. Have people had more success with these?

    Please could someone help x

    Thanks Partypoison,

Sorry I can't seem to quote via my mobile. What are the acrynmns you mentioned and what would be the best way to contact them? I have a repayment plan with two of them so may not rock the boat with them two but would be happy to take something off Quickquid, the very worst I dealt with.

    Thanks

Shame you have gone through a resolver, as they will charge you for this, however great you have taken action.

I have had success with both Wonga and Sunny. Wonga admitted fault and paid up without the FOS but Sunny weren't as forthcoming and that went to the FOS but they found in my favour.
The FOS is a long process, but its worth it, whether you get the right result or not, as the company gets charged for them looking into it and if you win, great, if not it was worth a go. You won't know if you dont try.

Just sit tight and see what they come back with.

FOS is Financial Ombudsman Services I think is the direct representation, but either way its the Ombudsman :) I work in IT so lose track of what most of the acronyms I see stand for, but know what they mean lol.

I cant comment regarding payment plans ones, but I would imagine someone else can - at a guess I would say its still worth pushing for something back from them but I was never in that situation fortunately.

I was in repayment plans with Uncle Buck, Wageday Advance, Satsuma, Sunny & Quick Quid when I complained. As long as you stick to the agreed payment schedule while they investigate it won't impact you at all (and if they did cause any problems the FOS would be on them like a ton of bricks).
Also just to add that I made a full & final settlement on my Uncle Buck debt, I then went on to complain and received a refund from earlier loans, so it's not just about the most recent loan if you've had more than 1.
    Good luck.

Just heard back from Ombudsman today... they have agreed that Payday Uk lent irresponsibly to me and asked them to refund all interest on all loans accept loan number 1 dating back to 2006!!! woooooo hoooooo very happy :T:rotfl::beer:
  • Just a quick message to update:
Northway Financial have offered £2790 which I have accepted.
Lending Stream said 2 out of the 3 loans were affordable and have offered £134.40 as that's what I paid on the 3rd loan. I have accepted.
Quickquid basically told me my loans were all too old even though I was still paying them in 2015. Its been referred to FOS.
Wagedayadvance are still working on it...the 8 week period ends on 16th April.
Wonga's 8 weeks are up on 17th April.
MrLender's 8 weeks are up on 17th April.
Uncle Buck's 8 weeks are up on 17th April.
Payday UK haven't come back to me since initial contact. Their time is up on 17th April.
Payday Express said the loans were affordable so I have sent it onto the FOS.
