Thanks
sunny offered a refund without statements, my other 2 went to the ombudsman service, who will likely want to see bank statements0 -
That's amazing. Did you have to go though FOS for this? How long did it take from initial complaint?
The took 9 weeks to get back to me with an offer. Its in the region of what I'd expect, might have got more through the FOS, but would take upto a year to get it, so took the money and run!Started comping: September 2013Wins so far: Cunard QM2 Cruise, X Factor final tickets, £1,000 Team build day, Dinner at the Ritz with Rolls Royce limo:j:T

Does anyone know how long wonga take to refund? I saw someone say 14 days, is that 14 days from accepting the offer (which i did friday) or 14 days from them replying to your acceptance (which i havent got yet)0

Well Wonga have today acknowledgedmy complaint. The 8 week countdown has started. Still no word from QQ at all (It will be 5 days since I sent the complaint tomorrow). Safety Net Credit actually responded the same day I sent my complaint. Almost at the end of week one for them!0

14 business days from when they email you confirming that you've accepted their offer. Saw someone post earlier stating they got theirs in 10 days. I'm on day 7 since they emailed me confirming they will payout.Started comping: September 2013Wins so far: Cunard QM2 Cruise, X Factor final tickets, £1,000 Team build day, Dinner at the Ritz with Rolls Royce limo:j:T

Hello!
My other half took out a lot of loans with quickquid in the period 2011-2014 and eventually had a flex-account taking money out and repaying it the same month seemed to be quite normal.
He had an offer letter from QQ 8 weeks after the resolver template was sent to them, offering £2900 and to write off the £400 remaining. This is great, really pleased they will pay back as it put our family into serious trouble. However, I know the interest was way over £5000 and the ombudsman would add 8% onto this, we are currently saving up for a deposit and that amount of money would make a big difference to us. One of the reasons they have disallowed some of the first loans he took out was because he was earning enough to cover the repayments, and his credit file was checked. Although we obviously couldn't afford it as we had to take the loans out frequently!
So I would like some advice, in this situation would it be best to go to FOS?

All depends how quickly you need the money. A journey on the FOS can be very lengthy, 6months to a year for some. Sounds like you have grounds for appeal to FOS to claim for more, but expect a long wait. If you take the offer, you would probably have the money in 2-3 weeks. I complained to the FOS regarding PDUK, still waiting for anything and I'm 4 weeks in. I imagine this will be months away before any news.Started comping: September 2013Wins so far: Cunard QM2 Cruise, X Factor final tickets, £1,000 Team build day, Dinner at the Ritz with Rolls Royce limo:j:T

Hi all,
I've got a few refund complaints in that I'm waiting to hear back on. I've just checked my credit report and noticed that Instant Cash Loans Ltd have performed a search, which is labelled 'Administration Review'. Does anyone know what this is / whether I can get that search removed, as I assume other lenders can see it? Thanks.0 -

I had the same this happen. It is a soft search which was apparently agreed to as part of the T's & C's of the original loan
I have asked how I can opt out, and haven't had a reply so have included in my complaint to the FOS.Smiling and waving0 -
Finally received my Wonga refund yesterday and today I wake up to Piggybank agreeing to write off the majority of my current balance with them. Good start to the day, never give up folks!0
