For anyone with a paydayuk complaint at the moment.
The FOS are deciding cases based on what you tell them, and what your credit file says at the moment.
This is because paydayuk can't cope with the influx of complaints at the moment and are taking months to pass requested info to the FOS.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. As predicted, MyJar failed on getting any charges back
adjudicator did say that she agrees they acted unfairly but can only uphold their original offer of write off. Surprisingly, she did say that she recognises the whole experience has been frustrating for me, I think she probably worked that out by the tone of my last email when I got really peed off with her.
She's unfortunately got hold of my Sunny complaint as well, but as Sunny have already written the loan off and removed all traces from my credit file I'm not holding my breath. Thankfully another adjudicator has got my PDUK complaint, she seems very nice and actually replied to my email unlike the other one. Sara on Debt Camel tells me that my best chance is with PDUK- there are three pages of re-loans/rollovers on my credit file, I only have a balance of £91 remaining and I have proof they continued loaning to me after I told them I had cancer.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

Ooooh! I think they're trying to scare you! Nice try peachy...I'd love to see them take you to court for it.
Bottom line, the lenders had a responsibilty to check. What if your finger slipped, and you accidentally put £20,000 instead of £2000 a month by mistake? Does that mean it was ok to give you a payday loan for £10,000? No chance. They should have asked for a bank statement or payslip to check. This is their fault, not yours, and frankly I dont like their attitude, so I would be even more inclined to go to FOS and point out the threatening tone of their response. I dont think it will be well received...0 -

Im sorry to hear you werent well- I hope things are better now?
Your PDUK sounds just like one I am dealing with at the moment. Its been an incredibly frustrating process, they are the worst I have encountered so far. They just dont respond at all. I had to call 3 times at the end of 8 weeks because they kept 'forgetting' to send the email allowing me to escalate.
How long ago did you send your complaint? Im just wondering what the timescales are like at the moment, as the cases sound identical. This one is constant loans, repaying and borrowing half of their salary every single month for 4 years...0 -

If anyone else is waiting on PDUK, I have a bit of a cunning plan.
They realise that they have lost their old customers, due to the fact that they have no customer service skills and feel its acceptable to treat folk with complete contempt. So, they are very keen to protect their online reputation.
I have taken to posting a factually accurate review of their service and complaints process on trust pilot, complete with 1* review.
This seems to get their attention pretty quickly. Admittedly, they reply to your review long before they reply to your complaint, but I reckon if enough of us do it, and they find it affects their business, they might realise that we are not going to go away so they might aswell deal with us!0 -
Latest update I have is that adjudicator has my up to date credit report and had contacted Quick Quid. He is expecting a response from them within the next week and will contact me with a further update.Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?0
