Quartz worktop fitting - is this acceptable?

I also have wall tiles put up, so replacing the worktop would be a nightmare...0

if you bought it from wren then your case is with wren. in retail you are responsible for what you sell. so you need to get in touch with them and give them a chance to sort it. if they dont, then i guess get a solicitor involved or maybe a visit to the cab. on line of course!1

ok then, everybody saying that "bevelling the joint is a mistake" and "it should be seamless"
show me pictures of your worktops!
the sections of my worktops all have bevelled edges, and there's a thin line of adhesive or sealent in it. I just don't think it's possible to machine the sections with a 90 degree profile and but them u and have a seamless joint...
but happy to be proven wrong, so show me your pictures...0 -

My granite worktops were fitted with much more minimal seams. I have three joins and they all look like this:
You will have a fight with Wren. You will undoubtedly receive some pushback, so I would suggest that you revisit a showroom and try to get an example of what they consider acceptable in order that you can argue your corner.
Best if luck

One of our fitters jobs, including book matching the quartz for a seamless look in the joint of the L, for the poster doubting how a good worktop should look!
Op good luck with Wren.1 -
^^ Your fitter did a good job. Quartz is very expensive and it just shows that you need someone who knows what they are doing, otherwise the finished appearance can be ruined.

That's a photo of an acrylic worktop, something that is very different to quartz.
