M&S have a nice range of crisps - both in single or multipack versions.

Never seen these in 6 packs in Lidl (despite multiple requests!) but thankfully the cheese and onion equivalent are available in 6 packs from Aldi at 99p. And very delicious they are, too :)
    Not plain?
I like plain crisps, I usually buy Kettle crisps multi packs when they are on offer at 99p (5 bags) but I do buy Aldi hand cooked 150gm bags when I can't get them.
Would be great to have an Aldi option.

I know there is one other flavour, but I can't remember what because it didn't appeal. I know its not S&V because I would definitely have bough that, its possibly a salt and pepper version.

What I like about these packs is that they can be eaten responsibly, if I open a single pack I eat 25g. If I open a 150g bag its to share with others, but invariably there are less than six of us sharing that quantity so its too easy to over-consume.
No man is worth crawling on this earth.

So much to read, so little time.

Kettle crisps multi packs are 30 gram per packet.
I did start to weigh them into portions as I used them but that seemed too anal.
I try to make sure I get 5 portions out of a large bag.

Depends how mse you want to be although even brands are often on offer. I only really like plain so would suggest Seabrook from Home Bargains or Aldi Snackrite crinkle cut.

I don't eat crisps, but last year, when I did, it was Kent Crisps ham and mustard, Kettle Chips slightly salted and Tyrrells veg crisps.

you can make your own. you can by a crisp maker on tinternet. and if you grow your own spuds they really will be home made.good luck!
Commercial crisps are made with potatoes not usually available to consumers, I think they are Russet. Probably the closest you can get normally would be King Edward. There is not only a difference between different potatoes of course however the biggie difference is when you bake normal potatoes for chips they go brown and burnt whereas Russet go golden which makes for a far nicer looking crisp. Apparently.
