I agreed to this upgrade with sky yesterday but understand I have a 14 day cooling off period so was wondering if anyone was aware of any better deals? I have already checked and compared on this site and u switch
I can save a pound or two but I run the risk of getting a slower Speed, a different provider told me based on my line that it is showing 1-2mb download speed (I was getting this speed with plus net, before I joined sky) And I have consistently got 4mb with sky, unfortunately fibre-optic is not available here and won't be for the foreseeable future
- I also got a £25 credit so in total my monthly bill would work out to be £33.61
- Also With sky I had a anytime extra calls package which included mobiles and 0845/0870 numbers but this was started 18 months ago and it now seems that you can't get these free service numbers any more, in there anywhere?
- The sales woman in the cancellation department Broadly told me that there are ways to get 0845/0870 numbers for free and to google it but I've not been able to come across any such way

Replacing 0845 with 0345 usually works.
Alternatively, try looking for an alternative number on www.saynoto0870.com0 -
By "standard" broadband I assume you mean ADSL2+? If so, TalkTalk should be able to beat that easily. I know a family member who's getting TalkTalk ADSL2+ with unlimited landline/mobile/0845/0870 calls for £18/m. But you will need to call TT up as their website prices are way higher.1

Now broadband who are owned by sky is £18 a month for brilliant broadband including free anytime calls to landlines and mobiles. You can get £68 cashback going through Topcashback or £70 going through Quidco. This is for a 12 month contract.0
