I am trying to do the simple task of changing my Virgin Media Bundle that is now that my contract has expired.
I have tried to update the bundle from within my account. No luck just get "Something has gone wrong" page. So I call Customer Support (CS) 3 days on the trott on hold for 30+ minutes I the get "the other person has cleared" All three occasions are at 8am when they open. So I go to the Online Community Forum and post a message in the Accounts section seeking help. Online Community cannot help me. I am told to send a text to the number given in the reply from the Online Community Moderator. So I text with a message that I what to change my package. Takes 2 days to get back to me. They send me a link to a "Secure form" asking for some characters from my Account Password. The link returns a blank page. All they can do is keep sending me more links until it work. I am now at my wits end. A simple task of changing a package could have been sorted out in 1 short phone call.
I have been a loyal customer for 19 years now. I DO NOT do business with any company over a text conversations. How do we stop companies like Virgin Media hiding from their customer. They simply do not want customers contacting them. I will be walking away from them because of this.
