Road markings / Sign posts

Where I live there's a dual carriageway that leads on to a roundabout and you can guarantee there will be an accident every week and people are blaming the road marking. So my question is if you have road markings telling you to be in the left hand lane for the services but the road sign is telling you to be in the right hand lane which lane should you be in. Also what does these road markings mean (S) (DE).

Probably depends on which side the services actually are
Can you post a GSV0 -

3rd exit of a 5 exit roundabout is straight on and as its only a single width carriageway it would appear to be correct.
I can see how those without the time and prior knowledge could get it wrong though0 -
S means South, DE is the Welsh translation.

The road markings say RH for Exit 4, A4042 S only. They say ONLY in big letters.
Exit 1 is minor.
Exit 2 is major, A4042 N.
Exit 3 is the services.
Exit 4 is major, A4042 S.
Exit 5 is a private entrance.
Exit 6 is back on yourself.
The signage looks absolutely fine, but could do with a repaint. The collision problem is going to be idiots who haven't read the signage mixing with idiots who think they have a right of way and don't look at what's around them.1 -

Although it can be argued that road markings are advisory ... it is easily possible for them to be covered by traffic and not at all visible.0
