Any disadvantages to upgrading through Carphone Warehouse?
I have a contract with Vodafone and have for many years. It's now time for me to upgrade but Carphone Warehouse can do the upgrade for £20 less a month than through Vodafone directly.
Has anyone done this and are there any disadvantages? Just seems too good to be true.

None I'm aware of - I was in a similar scenario with EE, on £36 a month at the end of my contract. They wanted £45pm for an upgrade to an S20 with 10GB of data and £300 for the phone. CPW did the upgrade for £35pm for 50GB and £150 for the phone (with a free wireless charger as well). Processed online Sunday, got the phone Monday and just had to swap sims over.

Thanks, it's the S20 I'm looking at too. Best vodafone disconnections would do was £57 a month with nothing upfront.
Carphone Warehouse is £38 a month with £120 upfront but after speaking with them they reduced the upfront cost to £40.
£952 over 2 years for a phone worth £799 sim free seems like an excellent deal. I don't think a sim only plan with 16GB would be close to £6 a month.0
