Cancelled car insurance

It's not the rest of your life, think it was only 5 years for my brother, but cost him about £7k extra over that time.

Have you or any named drivers on the insurance policy ever had an insurance policy declined, cancelled, voided or had special terms imposed? 
So in most cases it is for the rest of your life.

There are a few mainstream insurers who only ask about cancellations in the last 5 years - from memory Direct Line are one. (Not much help now obviously. but keep in mind for future years}.

He doesn't use comparison sites for that reason, he uses a broker.
