£25.19 in Tesco yesterday.
Currently on £185.81/£750
Mostly bits I can't get in Lidl so tend to be a bit more expensive. Offset by getting 2 packs of YS sausages for £1.41 each. 1.5 packs put into a sausage casserole which worked out <£1 pp, so happy with that. Includes leftovers and 1/2 pack of sausages 😀August Grocery Challenge £161.27/£400.008 -

First spend at the weekend was a big shop at Morries. The man on the till asked me if I had a big family as I'd bought a lot of food!!!!
Didn't know whether to be offended or not! I had a full trolley but don't think there was a massive amount and it did include lots of dog food and toilet roll which we won't be eating

Hello! Would love to join this month please, have really let our food spending get out of hand over lockdown- I'm really not used to having us all home so often!
Aiming for a budget of£320
please, and have spent £39 already. That's for me, partner and 2 yo DD (who costs me a fortune in berries)7 -
Good morning All
A quick, flying visit to log Sunday’s trip to L!dl. £29.30 spent, mainly on veg, a kilo of cooking bacon (£1.45), some cheese and quite a lot of crackers. (I’ve been perfecting my pate making skills, which DH prefers to eat on crackers.). The only thing I couldn’t find this time was muscovardo sugar. They had plenty of Demerara in stock, but virtually nothing else. Anyway, that brings our spend to £32.55/£140 leaving £107.45 for the rest of the month.
@pamsdish - Fingers crossed nothing else goes wrong for you
@JingsMyBucket - good to see you back. We heard that New York was badly hit by the Virus. How are New Yorkers coping now?
- Pip"Be the type of woman that when you get out of bed in the morning, the devil says 'Oh crap. She's up.'
It ain’t what you do, it’s the way that you do it - that’s what gets results!
2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge 66 coupons - 39.5 spent.
4 - Thermal Socks from L!dl
4 - 1 pair "combinations" (Merino wool thermal top & leggings)
6 - Ukraine Forever Tartan Ruana wrap
22 - yarn
1.5 - sports bra
2 - leather wallet7 -
Good afternoon everyone
So far this month we have spent £275.79. Out of our £400. We went to a farm/organic shop and spent £30. This was fruit, veg, cheese, GF brown leaf for me. That's a one off as we had heard how good it was there. But that's my big shop for the month between As6a, Li6l and Icebob. I need to make some pastry for apple pies and lemon tarts and cakes for their lunch.Mortgage free September 2021. Narrowboat brought October 2021
Emergency fund £7500
Christmas fund £14309
