Retiring immediately.

I probably wouldn't bother investing it. I think it would be a waste of my time with such a large amount of money. Might as well start enjoying it immediately! First would be an email to my work telling them that I am leaving and to never contact me again : )Think first of your goal, then make it happen!1

Max out family's £4m NS&I allowance each, split the remaining £30m 3 ways in a Vanguard general account (or maybe get an IFA to set me up as an institutional investor or something), £10m FTSE UK All Share, £10m FTSE 250, £5m FTSE Global All Cap, £2.5m VVAL and VHYL.

I would set up a Letting empire"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Indirectly via the UK equity bits, and directly and indirectly via the global equity bits.
I could not stand dealing with tenants.

Give it back. It would have to be a mistake, because I've never bought a lottery ticket.
