Where can I get a good face mask?

I am finding it difficult to buy a comfortable face mask.

Most manufacturers seem to think everyone’s head and face are the same size - they are not.  You can’t try one and send it back if it doesn’t fit.

I don’t like masks that have elastic that goes around my ears - I find it very uncomfortable after prolonged use.  I also have to be careful the mask doesn’t irritate around my mouth as it can start a cold sore.

Has anyone found a source of good, well made, well fitting, comfortable, reusable face masks that come in different sizes and/or are adjustable please?

You've just covered all the points that make any recommendation on here pointless.

What some people find comfortable etc others don't.

It's a tube of material with a bit of stetch in it that you can wear in a number of ways - as a scarf round your neck, round the lower part of your face , as a hair covering, headband etc etc.

You can get (or make) mask extenders that attach to the loops and take them all the way around the back of your head to relieve the strain on your ears. I know many people were making them for the front line workers during lockdown.

Google 'mask extenders' to get a number of links on how to make them or where to buy  them

Snoods or buffs are generally not recommended because of the way you wear them around the neck when not in use then pull up again when using them indoors for example and also because you have to pull them over your head to remove them, all adding further risk of cross contamination.
