That's of no use whatsoever to those who have booked and paid for accommodation, could end up losing money on both.eskbanker said:
As they say on their website, they're managing their schedule on a rolling basis, which effectively means that they're not confirming flights are going ahead or being cancelled until two or three weeks before departure. Unfortunate that passengers don't have clarity before then but it's hardly surprising that they leave it as late as possible given the ever-changing circumstances - I have a flight booked with them for 31 August but am not expecting to hear from them for at least another couple of weeks....Easyjetmug said:When are they going to notify customers who booked flights in September that they are now cancelled.0 -
Hi all
Had a flight booked to Faro on 5/8/20 with easyJet which they cancelled. Was also to fly with easyJet from Faro to Bordeaux on 12/8/20 which was obviously tied in with first flight but got an email from easyJet stating it is expected to go ahead. Since we can't get to Faro is this an argument to have with easyJet re refund or travel insurance?

Don't shoot the messenger - I'm not saying that I'd expect their customers to be thrilled about it but am just clarifying what's happening and why, in response to your question about when you'll find out where you stand....Easyjetmug said:

Just as i thought,Easy jet emailed me to say my flight to Gibraltar on 1/9/20 has been cancelled.Laughably they say,"situations arise that are out of our control".Rubbish, you decided not to operate the schedule, which is fully in your control. You also left it weeks before informing passengers,no way to treat customers.0

you will have more of an argument if all flights were made on the one booking thus linking the journeys. if made as separate bookings then i'm afraid it will be a problem claiming for the non cancelled flights. i'm in the same situation myself btw.ceemac44 said:Hi all
