Thrifty Car Hire via CarRentals.com - Italy

Hello - has anyone ever used the above? I’ve found a rate for a trip in August which is comparatively fantastic compared to other rates on the comparison sites - roughly 50%. Surprisingly though I did not require to input credit card details to reserve the rate, although inputting the confirmation on the Thrifty website does show a confirmed booking at the price at which I was quoted. I’m a great believer in the old adage that if something is too good to be true, it tends to be - that said, I’d be reluctant to make a big saving here. Grateful for any insights!

Part of Expedia.  Only thing to double check is does it include all the necessary insurances?  Carrentals.com seems to be aimed at the USA market.  I believe car hire insurances are not usually included for US customers, as it operates a bit differently there, they usually have cover on their own car insurance policy.

Good point re the car insurances - I’ll double check that.
