On your monitor - depending on how many channels you have - you can display 4 (like in your video) 8, 12 and 16 cameras at any one time. That camera is just two cameras stuck together, and then connected to two channels of the NVR. Inside my garage - although I have 7 cameras connected to the NVR - I have selected that the monitor shows only 2 - and have it set to full screen auto switch - so the view is constantly showing each camera full screen for a few seconds. (When you're about to reverse the car out gives the best view of what's approaching either side). I could set it to 4 screen and leave the view of 2 cameras permanently - but prefer the full screen image for the purpose I want.

And in terms of cabling - with POE - each camera needs its own cable.

I have seen 2 cameras been connected to the same Cat 5 cable, using different inner cables for each camera, something called "twisted pair" i think.

That’s on your old analogue camera based system - doesn’t work the same way with the new POE system. That’s one cable per camera 😊
