@Scrapit, why do your posts never add anything useful?
The advice "ignore it" is very relevant and entirely useful to this situation. Absolutely.
Ironically, your post Keith aint added nuffink, has it? At all.
Why do you mock members on here ?????
I'm mocking keiths attempt at trolling by pointing out the fact I've helped, he hasn't. That seems more than fair. Also why the excess question marks?
Keith does not troll, his advice is sound and he is a very valuable member of this forum.
On the subject of trolling, I assume you have not read the FAQ's, there is a suitable section about trolling
What are you sayin, the advice to ignore is incorrect? I think you'll find its wholly, absolutely and completely correct.
All I will say, is this forum zaps parking companies and their legals all the time and it's all done without you. This will continue, again without you

Whats the relvance of that in this thread? There is no parking, no legals and no zapping on this topic. The advice remains, as i stated amongst others : ignore it.

Except that post four fully explains just why you ignore it and in the correct context.

This board is however littered with examples of people who took “ignore” out of context at other stages of the process or who only read pre-POFA 2012 guidance/certain misleading threads and are now looking at a less fortunate outcome, or much harder work at mounting a challenge.

Which is why any advice to ignore needs to be properly qualified.
Parking fines shouldn't be ignored, but previously they could be. Hence the confusion.
This case is a foreign traffic fine that has been sold to a debt collector for a pittance in the hope that someone pays it. None of that is relevant, only two words are: ignore it.
define "parking fines " , or better still define who can issue fines for parking to a UK resident ?

because in mny posts i have read on the PRIVATE parking ticket forum , you keep refering to FINES , and I was beginnung to wonder if you actually knew the difference between a counsil/police ticket and a private ticket

that why , now over to you ,,,,,,,,,,

a traffic fine is a fine. That is the case here. Everything you are asking is wholly irrelevant.
Also are you referring to the parking tickets, fines & parking forum which we are currently posting in? The one with fines in the title?
