Sounds like you had a lovely time Dawn
hope you’ve managed to catch up on some
    sleep.

    Today’s list:
1 bed stripped and in the wash
catch up on a film with the smalls
various fruit use ups for breakfast and snacks
pop to butchers for a few bits
go a visit relative we’ve not seen since before lockdown
continue financial updates, keep making notes
Pick some courgettes and anything else that’s ready
prep gifted plums for jam and crumble

have a good day all. Purps.

    Afternoon all :)
Torrential rain here on and off, so I am really pleased we came back home yesterday instead of staying another night! Didn't sleep brilliantly as it was really hot (both hot and rainy, not a very nice combination) so not much achieved yet today. I have however:
Early morning dog walk, break in between rain
Packed 3 ebay sales, and took them, along with a RM surveys parcel and an item bought online to be returned, to the Post Office. Drove rather than walked due to rain, but a kind person did pass me their parking ticket with time left on it :)
Weeded carrots, beetroot and leeks (again, in between rain, which seems to have set in now), and I just saw some lightening, too.
    Cleaned up kitchen
Put some washing in, but no chance of drying it outside today!
Used up some panini rolls for lunch. I don't have a panini press, but the small George Foreman grill that I do have, works fine for this.
I was hoping to do a bit more gardening but have been properly rained off for today! No watering needed though :)
I have clothes etc to put away upstairs, and must figure out something for dinner. It will be something I already have, as I have no wish to go shopping in the rain!

    Afternoon all,
A good nights sleep and I feel more human again :)
    Todays small things
    * all meals from stores (still just shopping once a week)
    * long walk with dh & ds2 (luckily the rain held off til we got home)
    * a film with dh from our stash
    That's it!
    Take care all.
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.
