@PurpleFairy26 think i was very lucky with the box. They sell out quick here with morrisons, dont think they do many. Managed to get one last night aswell with another assortment of goodies, took some things to DM and other items down to a neighbour that i know who is struggling, and will have slipped thru the cracks for getting help. Might see if i can get one the end of the week for neighbour as they have no transport either.
    Not much going on here.
    *Have dodged paperwork!
    *exercise class this morning.
    *banking checked, everything good
*going to try some paperwork today but really want to get into tidying up further ready for our decorating project in August
*hoping for blue skies later. Was just getting thru all the washing, woke up to rain this morning :(
    *cat cleaning all done
*managed to get another link to hope christmas box done last night. These are proving challenging this year. The first year i picked up supplies stupidly cheap in the Jan sales aswell.
DD friend wanted new trainers, no big shops near him so DD went to the next town here for him when picking up some things for herself  and i've got to keep the shoeboxes. DD is going to deliver when going to see a friend, will have 6 to drop off. Hopefully the collector is collecting as this is a new one we havent used before
I see blue skies so im off. Have a good day everyone x

  • Afternoon all
    • -more spending on prescriptions, but fingers crossed the latest combination helps, especially with the anxiety
    • -found my CC so I have a (very small) safety net when I go away next week. I have been reducing credit limits down as I pay debts off so have literally £100 on this one to spend but it's there if I need it.
    • -new medication forbids alcohol so that's kind of moneysaving lol :-D
    • -freezer tea
    • -just making it to the end of this month. Bit low cos of everything. Will be fine just have not got energy to actively do moneysaving!
    • -find charity shop accepting donation - cleared out loads and our local shop is not taking anything! Anyone else had this problem?

Today is the same as most other days here at the moment but with the extra  excitement that I get to ring the garage later to book my car in for its MOT & service, I'm hoping mine flies through like @1luckylady did

Very quiet on here. Hope everyone is ok. Nice to see you back posting LPP

My list (probably more for the week than today) looks like:

feed the tomatoes now I’ve managed to procure some feed
get the beds changed and dried outside
look for mattress topper for one of the smalls
send a return back - managed to print label yesterday so that’s progress
Have lots of paperwork to fill in for various things, have done some and a little more to do. Need to post some off too.
    Triage fridge
look at doing next stage of blind making
check for August birthdays and check I have all cards and any gifts I might need.
Doing some financial jiggering about, closing a few unused accounts and a general tidy up. Keep track of things on my trusty sheet.

There must be a bit more, but that’ll do for now. Have a good day everyone. Purps.

    @Baileys_Babe I hope it passed!!
Lpp lovely to see you back posting
A frustrating day and I don't feel like I've achieved :anguished:
Maybe putting up my list now will improve my mood!
    * tried to register for tax man but couldn't verify my identity :rage: tried going via the post office,  but failed.  Got another to try tomorrow but I bet they can't verify either so it will be a call to HMRC :(  Doesn't help that I don't have a passport. - this might explain my bad mood!
    * checked banking,  updated cashbook
    * left overs for tea
    * my dad popped round with a £1.50 wonky veg box from lidl for me,  worth at least £8 I think
    * lots of exercise,  3 walks around the block (one with ds2, one with dh and one walk/run on my own to clear my head!) a rosemary conley salsacise dvd session and a body project online work out
    * washed hair and left to dry naturally as always
    * a pinecone survey done which means I've been able to claim a £10 amzn voucher
    * claimed £5 amzon payout from rm surveys

I think thats it,  and it did the job as I do now feel like I achieved!!  Right I'm off to update my to do list for tomorrow

hmm we'll my frustration continues as I've not been able to sleep at all.  Brain too busy  so I got up at 12:30 and have done two annual surveys which will get a early completion bonus voucher in the post for too.
I've checked banking & updated cashbook.
Tried the 2nd company to verify myself for HMRC which failed as expected.  I will write to them when I'm thinking straight!
    Plans for later
:kissing_heart:  Make a chilli con carne for the weekend
:kissing_heart:  Make a leek and potato soup to use some stock in the freezer
:kissing_heart:  Maybe make an apple and berries crumble (bruised apples from the fruit bowl and berries from the freezer)
:kissing_heart:  Wd40 the cupboard hinges where the fridge is as I noticed it really squeaking when making my 1am cuppa!
    :kissing_heart:  Rm surveys
:kissing_heart:  Wash a load and hang out to dry if the weather looks ok
:kissing_heart:  Exercise using rc dvd, a youtube vid and a couple of walks
:kissing_heart: Wash front room windows inside and out
:kissing_heart: Test smoke detectors (before dh starts his work for the day!)
:kissing_heart: Continue sorting out my wardrobe (kids spare bedding is in there but their new beds have a sliding side so I'm reclaiming my wardrobe!)

I think that's ambitious enough for a lady with no sleep!
    Take care all.

    Afternoon all :)
Had a couple of days away camping in our old van in DD1's field. Lovely to spend time with them, as we don't see DD1, her OH and the 2 GDs very often. They camped out in their shepherd's hut thing, and it was so nice sitting round the camp fire in the dark chatting. Lovely weekend away at no cost except for fuel and the food we took with us. However, not a great deal of sleep was had, and I have had to empty the stuff that needed to come out of the camper van (and put it away), put our sleeping bags on the line to air in the (quite hot earlier this afternoon) sun, water everything in the back garden, and pick courgettes, tomatoes and raspberries. OH and the dog are both snoring, and I need to post a RM surveys item in a minute, luckily just in the post box a few minutes walk away. Dinner will be later and easy, pesto pasta using pesto I made the other day. Lots to do tomorrow, but not much else will get done today!
