How long's it taking to get a pin letter from Experian?

I applied for my credit report from Experian at the end of June and haven't received my pin-verification letter yet. I've tried contacting them to no avail. Are they using coronavirus as an excuse to take their time about it?

IIRC my PIN arrived within a week; that was before the COVID-19 nonsense.

Can you request another PIN?  That would probably be the quickest option.

I seem to recall mine was also around a week during normal times.

I ordered mine on Saturday and received an email immediately. I received a second email with a reference number on Sunday. Did you receive two emails?

They say you will receive your pin within 7 working days. After 7 working days, did you email them on pinletter@uk.experian.com including your name and address and reference number as advised?

What’s wrong with using the MSE Credit Club?

I ordered a report from Experian 2 weeks ago, just to see how it compared to MSE credit club and it look about 4 business days to arrive. I'd triple check your address details that you provided to Experian, in case there was an error in where you told them to send it. Also keep in mind that if you have a mail redirect, the envelope specifically says on it "not to redirect".

All in all, the Experian report contained pretty much exactly the same info as that provided from MSE credit club, so it's probably easier just to get your report from there.
