Share Broadband and split cost.....??

Assuming you get on well with your neighbours, is there any reason why you could not share a BB connection?

Our neighbours have a strong signal which we can pick up, as do they ours. We are both retired and only use the internet for a bit of online shopping and emails etc. Just thought it may save a bit of money if we signed onto their wifi and covered half the cost.
20 plus years as a mortgage adviser for Halifax (have now retired), and I have pretty much seen it all....:D

As above - probably not strictly allowed in the T&C's  but if you and they are happy to do it then why not especially if the speeds are OK

Probably forbidden (altho' hidden deep in the ts & cs); however, you need to have a large degree of trust in your neighbours ie that they aren't into kiddie !!!!!!, extreme nationalism (of any sort) , downloading of films or other illegal online activities.
I certainly wouldn't want PC Plod knocking on my door !!

On similar lines, do neighbours have grandchildren calling round using the connections?
