    I haven't used malware bytes (or any similar software) for >10 years. What am I missing?
    All of the malware that's infested your PC and is quietly calling home? ;)

    Nothing unless you or a family member is a clicker of links in emails or a person who OKs random "you need to install this software" messages

  • Not a techie but I know the computer whizz kids at my old firm used to recommend this software to be used in conjunction with your AV software.
    I've used the free version for a number of years now and always use it to check out my PC at least once per month
