Click on the Windows symbol on the taskbar at the bottom left of the screen and a list of installed programmes should pop up.
Scroll down to Malwarebytes and select it.
Alternatively find the programme exe in File Manager.
If neither of those work then google Malwarebytes and reinstall the latest version.A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".1 -
done that all it tells me is that malwarebytes is installed and how to delete it not how to get it to do a scan using the short cut button already installed on my desk top like I used to be able to0

or just type malwarebytes in the search box (bottom left) and it should appear in the list where you can run it by clicking it. **
** and if its there you can re-create the desktop shortcut by :- 1. right-mouse click on it -> open file location 2. right-mouse click the highlighted program -> Send to > Desktop (create shortcut)
If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.1 -
Right click on a desktop blank area,
select New > Shortcut.
Browse to Malwarebytes
right click and open file location
select malwarebytes.exe
press ok1 -

If you decide to reinstall use theMalwarebytes Support Tool

Try right clicking on the shortcut and selecting "open file location" If this works it will open the location and highlight mbam.exe. Right click on that and create shortcut, the cut and paste shortcut to your desktop0

I haven't used malware bytes (or any similar software) for >10 years. What am I missing?"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0
