IMO its pointless, the result is only valid until you are able to be potentially exposed again (immediately)
If they are asking, what is the issue with providing them with the information ?0 -
There is no issue at all, but thought her word should be enough, especially asking for someone to provide proof who isn’t employed by them.0

They have no right to see yours, probably no right to see daughters either. But if you have had a negative test what does it matter to show them as she has already told them it negative, to stop any hassle for your daughter.

As above - sometimes compliance is the path of least resistance.
I would guess this is a prelude for returning to work or similar -- only one person will "suffer" in the end0 -
She’s already shown proof of both, but it just didn’t seem right to be asking for mine, they stated that the employment solicitor needed it?0

Like i say, IMO its pointless, you could potentially have multiple people in the household apart from you 2 that haven't had to provide/been asked to.
You/you daughter could have refused I guess, but there may have been employment consequences by refusing
Her employment sector may be a contributing factor as well0 -
Yes, they can ask.louiset22 said:Hi there hi my daughters employer is requesting to see proof of her negative covid test but also demanded to see mine as well as I was the one with symptoms is this allowed?
Presumably they want this so she can return to work?
Obviously, if you live in a household or have had close contact with someone who has any of the stated symptoms you have to self isolate for 14 days, so they are within their rights to refuse to allow your daughter to attend work for 14 days.It may be that their Risk Assessment will allow her to return sooner if they have proof that your symptoms are not due Covid-19, because if your test had been positive, your daughter could have been incubating the infection at the time her test was taken. (My workplace operates the same policy.)You are, of course, entitled to refuse to provide it, but it would probably mean that your daughter would need remain absent from her workplace for the full 14 days.[/CENTER]Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0 -
Yes I totolly understand all the correct procedures regarding infection etc. She told employer all tests were negative.0
