Vanguard Life Strategy & HTB Isa

My son has a nationwide HTB isa but wants to open a vanguard life strategy 60%. Can he fund both at the same as long as he doesn’t go over the £20k Total yearly limit ?

Vanguard Lifestrategy is the name of a fund, not an account. If you mean he wishes to pay money into a S&S ISA or LISA and buy that fund, then that would be fine as they are different types of ISA.It would, however, be quite unusual and generally not recommended for someone looking to buy a house in the next few years to commit money into long term investments as it would tend to delay their house purchase.
