Easyjet Flights cancelled?

We've booked flights through easyJet from Newcastle to Malta two weeks ago for August.  Now when you look at their flight schedule, it starts from September, so it looks like our flights have been cancelled.  If you input our booking reference into their website, we can amend seats and even book hotels and airport parking etc.  We are yet to receive an email to say that the flight has been cancelled, but evidently, it must have been.  How can they still allow us to book extras knowing that they will need to be cancelled?  Surely this should not be allowed.  I even suspect that they took our money knowing that these flights weren't going to go ahead, just to get money in the bank.  We are now going to have to wait months to get this back.

We are now also in limbo, as we have had no official confirmation that the flights have been cancelled, so we can't cancel our hotel or book anywhere else until we know what is actually happening.  I know things are difficult, but people who are trying to help out the industry are being well and truly played by these companies.  Beware if anyone is thinking of booking flights at present.

Seems flights are departing from Manchester, maybe they're planning on bumping you on to those? Have you tried contacting them?
