Captain Tom was wonderful but I also wonder why he was allowed to have all of his family around him in hospital when so many have died in hospital alone.3

I read that he was taken home to be with his family and died there.parcival said:Captain Tom was wonderful but I also wonder why he was allowed to have all of his family around him in hospital when so many have died in hospital alone.0 -

Happy to stand corrected. I definately did read that in his last hours the family requested him home but no idea where I read it. I had been thinking the same thing as you before I read that. My aunt dies in hospital in November alone and having not seen any of her family for some time. Terrible way to end a life.0
