Where as if you go to one of the Scottish stations, https://planetradio.co.uk/westsound/competitions/win/cash-drop-scotland/, this does not slide to show a winner for today, nor does it display a winner if you click the arrow, or little grey square. Could this suggest that no one answered the phone during the Cash Drop?

The 2 versions are always (or usually) separate - there were lots of days during the last Cash Register where although the amount was the same on both versions, there were always 2 different winners (or a winner on one version, but not the other if no one answered).

It's the same for this new Cash Drop one.....

Hit Radio Network dropped at 12pm and the winner was Claire.

Hits Radio Network Scotland dropped at 1pm and the winner was Jerry.

They didn't air the recording of the phone call being made, they just announced the winner (about 30 to 40 minutes after the cash dropped) and played a short recorded clip of the winner's reaction when they were told they had won. For some comps (like the Cash Register) they air the recording of the call being made (the number of rings, whether it's answered and then the chat with the presenter), but this Cash Drop comp might be more like some of the other comps they've had, where there's a winner every time, so it's not just one phone call made, they keep going until they have a winner, which is why they don't always bother airing the phone calls being made (sometimes the calls are just made by producers who tell you you've won without recording you and then they may or may not have you talk to the presenter after you've been told you've won). Will have to see what happens on future days......

Sorry if this has already been answered, I have read through but couldn’t see anything about it, but does the 12 entries cover you throughout the whole competition?

Yes as the Start Date is Monday 20 July 2020 at 8:00am and End Date: Friday 24 July 2020 at 5:00pm which is classed as one draw - the T&Cs state you can enter one draw the maximum number of times.

I emailed Bauer about this and they have come back with the following

It states clearly in the Terms and Conditions which geographical areas can enter the Summer Cash Drop competitions.

 

Cash Drop UK states:

 

 

Cash Drop for the Scotland radio stations states:

 

 So the terms and conditions for the Scottish competition have been changed since yesterday although you can see the person sending the email to me did not mention the change.

Just in case someone here gets called for a Cash Drop and is expecting to have won £25k !!
-      The £25k jackpot is on Friday
-      The Cash Drops happen randomly during the week and are for smaller amounts (£1,000 yesterday)
