on the beach, when changing from 2020 - 2021 are charging me £25 for every amendment

What do I do?! I booked a holiday with on the beach for myself and my teenage daughter - all inclusive package deal - obviously corona came along and I was asked to vacate my property by 1st July and went onto furlough at work with 80% of wages - decided to change the holiday to next year as my daughter has asthma (on steroid and salamol inhalers) but since changing apparently on the beach and ryan air don't work together - i now need to pay £456 lump sum to rebook my flights! When checking my booking OTB have only changed the date of the hotel, I now look like I've got hotel transfers, flights and travel insurance still for August 2020 - everytime I ask them to amend there charging £25 for the priviledge! I'm at the point I can't afford a lump sum of nearly £500 for flights for next year (single parent, low income) I just want my money back I'm really disgusted with On the Beach and RyanAir and would rather never travel with either again!!! I've written to ABTA, but I really don't hold up much hope with all this. What do I do???

you have posted this on the holiday bargains board...hopefully someone will move it to the correct place.
Firstly has the holiday actually been cancelled by the company or are you choosing to move it.
If the holiday has not been cancelled then there is no rights to refund. The costs for amendments will be as per the original contract unless there are any waivers that have been put in place.
Too late now but you would likely have been better to have left the holiday in the hope that there was a cancellation allowing refund or, if your daughters condition was declared to travel insurance, to speak to doctor on whether she was fit to travel and potentially a travel insurance claim.
Not sure what Ryanair have done wrong...you chose not to deal with them directly, they do not refund tickets unless the flights are cancelled. Ryanair don't like On The Beach either https://www.ryanair.com/ie/en/refundfaqs/screenscraperbookings0 -

I understand why you feel frustrated but, truthfully, you booked with a company who is frequently complained about on here for abysmal customer service.Firstly - you say you booked a package - what does your ATOL certificate say?
Secondly - were you advised that your holiday wasn’t going ahead? Or did you pre-emptively choose to change your booking?Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur1
