P&O cancelled cruise due to Covid and won't refund

Yes I think you're right and that's the only way forward with this, much as I had requested and believed the booking to be active. This message talks about a refund but I am unsure if I will receive anything and whether the entitlement to refund is 50% of the total booking cost and my friend has already received that in full? But this message implies that I might be refunded in full too? Do you take that meaning from the above?
This Facebook message confused me.

That facebook message certainly does not look unfriendly, but you need to help them get the refund through the booking system. The doctors note looks to be the easiest way to get a full refund. If that cannot be done then you need to get your phone bill showing the relevant call.0

however this has been refunded to one party....OP who was the lead passenger on the booking (they should be the one to receive the 50% refund)?0 -

My reading of the message is that if it was cancelled for medical reasons then you get a full refund. They even state that.1

It appears the refund given to date is as per the terms and conditions 'if' it was cancelled in March. If OP provides the medical evidence then they seem to imply the other 50% would be refunded1

Oh I so hope that is correct. I hadn't realised P&O covered people for medical reasons, that's what I thought the holiday insurance was for and I got that policy refunded in June after P&O cancelled the cruise so have no recourse there. I will get the medical letter.
Thanks

That what they said in the message , quite surprised they do as that is what travel insurance is for.1

Please tell me you kept a copy of the letter you sent which will aid the argument that there's no way it could be interpreted as you cancelling the cruise0
