New BT Mail replacing BT Yahoo!

A few weeks ago BT moved one of my email addresses over onto the new BT Mail service from the BT Yahoo! platform.  I genuinely feel as if I have been thrown back to the 1990's and the Netscape era.
It is absolutely appalling and BT do not care!
I have been in contact with BT with regards this, as I can not use there mobile app, I can not use it via my iPhone only via desktop on a PC or Laptop.  Even at that it is so slow.
Basically I am urging everyone to contact BT with regards this because BT say that they are getting nothing but positive feedback with regards the new service, from who???
The app barely gets 1 out of 5 stars on Apple, Google and Android.  The web is full of nothing but negative comments and issues with it.
I have emailed a formal complaint into BT and requested that my bill is reduced by £7.50 per month, as Premium Email is no longer part of my broadband package and I urge everyone else to do the same and email the CEO directly.  philip.jansen@bt.com and I would copy everyone else on the board in too.
We have to do something, it's time they started listening to actual customers!

If you don't like it, move provider.  That'll have more of an impact than anything you've posted about.

    How about
    a. forwarding your email to something like gmail or
    b. using something like Thunderbird (or Outlook if you have it).

Are you paying £7.50 per month as you are no longer a BT customer? If so the solution is simple, move, save the money and not have to be involved in BT Yahoo at all. If you do move go to something like gmail so you won't have a problem in the future if you change ISP.
