Furlough Fraud??

Ok so i have a friend who is working in a restaurant, she returned to work when it reopened a week or so ago. She suspects that she is working her usual hours and her boss is claiming furlough for her and not paying her the furlough ontop. If she's on furlough is she allowed to come into work and do her normal hours? Is her boss allowed to claim furlough if she's back to work? She received her pay and it was her the normal pay she used to get before lockdown, no extra, but she suspects he is still claiming for her being on furlough, is there any way she can check this??

If she’s returned to work and is doing her normal hours then she gets paid for her normal hours there is nothing on top to receive and she is no longer furloughed. How do you think she is working her normal hours but still furloughed? You’re either one or the other.
It would only be different if part furloughed ie full pay for partial hours worked topped with furlough.
No there is no way of checking if the employer is claiming furlough for her but a look on her personal tax account will show the amounts her employer is telling HRMC that they are paying her each week.1 -
The reason i think this is because there are 2 other employees on furlough but coming in doing extra shifts for cash. He's dodgy and i something in my mind makes me think he's claiming furlough for her and keeping it without declaring it. Or rather giving her her furlough amount as well as making her work the full week without paying her for it!0

Changes to furlough from 1st July means you can work as well as be furloughed. That wasn't my concern though, my concern was her boss claiming furlough for her and making her do her normal hourly week. The reason i suspect this is become during lockdown he was giving her a furlough cheque.. and the amount she got paid on saturday after doing her normal full time wages was a furlough cheque which was roughly if not the the exact amount of 80 percent of her wages. Yet he's saying she's not on furlough. So i just want to clarify this with hmrc and check 100% before i report furlough fraudpoppy12345 said:

There's no way of checking whether the employer has claimed for furlough.

Unless she actually sees the payroll nobody will know. I am sure lots of people in the country that have been working all the time have had furloughed money claimed for them, they will probably never know unless HMRC randomly starts contacting people who have had furloughed claimed for them to see if they have been working or not.3

She’s working her usual hours and been paid her usual money, end of, be grateful she’s earning. If the employer is committing fraud it’s them who will be getting in trouble if found out.1

Well no it's a bit unfair the others are being paid furlough plus extra cash ontop0

So other employees are still furloughed, and receiving the extra 20% on top and your friend has returned to work and is receiving 100% earnings, just like they were before lockdown?
