    i assume you still have to pay in £1500 a month to take 'advantage' of the 0.6% ...
    Its the 2 DD's for the interest isn't it?
    Yes. Pay in £1500 per month to avoid the fee. Two direct debits to get the interest.

    Not great news but it's still 0.6% more than I get on my other bank accounts.

    I wish they'd stop sending the magazines each month, or give you that option, and put that saving towards better interest rates.

    What magazines do you mean?  If you've chosen a magazine subscription as your Club Lloyds benefit, then you can change to a different one after 12 months.  You can choose digital movie rental, Gourmet Society membership, or six cinema tickets instead.

    I think it was the "and put that saving towards better interest rates" which was prompting Sun-Is-Fun's post.  So movie rentals etc are no different in terms of being some kind of a cost.  However earmarking such a saving into interest payments is highly unlikely.

    My maths is bad please advise,

    Having three Bos vantage accounts with 5k in each would I now be better of moving the cash to my NS&I account paying 1.16% I think?

    I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
    The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
    I listen all night for your step on the stair.

    Depends exactly what you mean by 'now'!

    If 'now' literally means today then no, you're still earning an effective 1.2%, which is obviously better than 1.16%.

    If 'now' means October, after the rate changes, then yes, 1.16% beats the revised effective 0.78%.
