i have had an ebay account for 3 years now,sell quite a lot every week and have had nothing,my mate used to sell a lot of stuff,he stopped and then ebay started sending him free mousemats and stuff,im guessing he will recieve his lights soon.but not me,its not the lights its the principal here.

Thank you for your email regarding the eBay Christmas lights sent out by
eBay to its different member.

We sent a limited number of eBay Christmas lights to some of our most
active buyers as a "thank you" and to see what the response was. Please
don't feel hurt if didn't receive them.

Unfortunately we don't have extra sets of lights to send out to other
members. However, it's good for us to know that you would have liked to
receive them; this will help us decide what to do next year.

I don't feel hurt :P I just want some. I'm concerned as to 'to see what the response was' as everyone selling them probably means it's unlikely that they'll do anything like it again. (or am I just being cynical?)
