My nephew is going to Iceland what’s the best way to get currency? Is it best to use a card or money exchange sister asked me so I said would try to find out cheers.

No need to 'get currency' - open an account (or two) that converts your pounds at the ideal rate without fees at the time of card use - Starling Bank, Virgin Money current account, Monzo, Revolut.Evolution, not revolution1

Iceland is one of the most cashless places I've been, they were well ahead of the curve in adopting card payments everywhere over cash. @eDicky has made some excellent suggestions on which cards will give an almost perfect exchange rate. If he needs some cash (never a bad idea to have some on you) he'll be able to withdraw some whilst there.1
